Jojoba Oil Beard Benefits

Did you know that Jojoba oil promotes hair growth? It does this by moisturizing your facial hair which prevents hair breakage, therefore, leading to a healthier and longer beard. Before we get into the rest of the Jojoba oil beard benefits. I think we should look at what Jojoba oil is.

What Is Jojoba Oil?

Jojoba is a plant that is known to grow in America. Interestingly, the Jojoba plant can survive in any part of the world. The piece of the Jojoba plant that is commonly used in Beard oils is the nut. Jojoba oil is a gold colour that has a shine to it.

Jojoba oil has many different uses, in many different cosmetic products as it is such an amazing oil. The oil can be stored for a long amount of time before it would start to go bad, which again, is why it is used in beard oils. Jojoba oil is used for two kind of cosmetic products, skincare and haircare, especially facial hair.

Jojoa oil contains amazing moisturizing properties which is why it is commonly used to treat things such as dry skin, dry lips and even helps treat acne. This oil can work amazing wonders by itself, or as part of a blend.

Jojoba oil also helps combat sebum build up, which is the skins natural oil. Sebum build up can make it a lot harder for your facial hair to grow. However, by massaging Jojoba oil into the skin beneath your beard can help reduce sebum and increase blood circulation to the skin, which evidence suggests, can help promote healthy hair growth.

You'd be surprised to know, that is not all Jojoba oil does. It also helps your facial hair even more, by making it easier to manage. It does this because Jojoba oil is rich in conditioning properties.

If you use Jojoba oil on your beard, you'll notice that the beard and skin beneath the beard will be a lot healthier and promote a slight shine.

Jojoba oil is that good for your beard, that most beard brands include this oil into their beard care products, especially beard oils.

Viking Revolution are a great example of this, Their beard oil is extremely popular and it contains only two main ingredients and Jojoba oil is one of them. So if you like the sound of Jojoba oil so far, I would suggest you look for a Viking Revolution Beard Oil Review and check out how good that beard oil is.

How You Should Use Jojoba Oil For Facial Hair:

  • Just like you would a beard oil, I would recommend that you massage a few drops into your facial hair just before bedtime.

  • Then in the morning, wash your beard and use a conditioner, then towel-dry your beard until it is slightly damp.

  • Then massage 2 or 3 drops of Jojoba oil or beard oil that contains Jojoba oil into your slightly damp beard.

Depending on how dry your beard is, you can use Jojoba oil once or twice a day. If your beard is very dry, then I would recommend you use it morning and at night for a couple weeks. If your beard isn't too bad in terms of dryness, then you could use it once a day, or every 2 days.

You will be happy to know that Jojoba oil absorbs into skin and facial hair fairly quickly, so if you are worried about walking around with a greasy beard, you need not to worry.

Duke Cannon Co uses Jojoba oil as a key ingredient in their beard oil called "Best Damn Beard oil", which is known to absorb into the beard and skin very well, leaving you with no greasy look or feel. If you would like to know more about their impressive beard oil, then I suggest you look for a reliable Best Damn Beard Oil Review.

If you want to know how to make your beard soft then we should talk about how Jojoba oil can help you achieve that. As Jojoba oil conditions your facial hair, overtime you'll notice that your hair will begin to soften and because jojoba oil supplies the skin beneath the beard hair with nutrients, it will strengthen the hair follicles.

We have spoken already about how Jojoba oil can treat skin dryness, and the number one contributing factor to a dry and rough beard, is a lack of moisture in the skin. If the skin beneath the beard is moisturized, then the new growth will absorb the moisture as it grows.

So I hope you can see how good Jojoba oil is and why it is used in so many beard oils.
